Mom can bring baby home from hospital in this wonderful blanket.

I used 3 balls of Impeccable Acrylic Yarn and size 4.0 (g) hook to make the sample.

Finished measurements are approximately 27" x 34".

As the baby gets older he or she will love touching and soothing themselves with the popcorn stitches and will most likely carry it around with them for years to come.

This pattern is written in American terms, there are lots of pictures to guide you.

The pattern is easy to read and follow if you are used to read a long only patterns. I would prefer some progress photos throughout the pattern so I can check it against my work as there are only photos to show how to do a reverse popcorn and the process of making the star. But I can’t give this pattern any less than 5 stars just for the want of some more photos!

You can check your progress as you go along by looking at the photo on the first page of the pattern. Best way so you know you are on track! I made the photo large for this purpose.
